What You'll Do As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help individuals improve the skills they need for everyday life by:
- Completing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Developing individualized treatment plans that promote independence and quality of life
- Providing engaging therapy services in clinic, community, and telehealth settings
- Monitoring progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
- Collaborating closely with physicians, families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members
- Conducting home and community assessments when appropriate
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), when applicable
Specialty Opportunities Grow your clinical expertise while working alongside experienced clinicians in areas such as:
- Custom wheelchair evaluations
- Adaptive and durable medical equipment (DME)
- Pediatric feeding services in collaboration with Speech Therapy
- Community-based therapy services
- Telehealth services
- Assistive technology evaluation and AAC devices
What We're Looking For - Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- At least one year of experience in human services
- Pediatric experience or assistive technology experience preferred
- Valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for helping individuals reach their highest level of independence
