Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesAs an Advanced Systems Engineer within the Honeywell Next-Gen Avionics (NGA) group, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and cutting-edge avionics solutions on the Anthem Next Generation Avionics Platform. In this role, you will work alongside a diverse team of engineers, developers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking Avionics solutions.
As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems.
- Support the design, development, systems integration and verification of advanced avionics systems, including hardware, software, and network components
- Development, systems integration and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics application to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
- Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards
- Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership, including system design, architecture, integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience using engineering tools and technologies relevant to systems development.

- Experience with working with sensors used for aircraft position, navigation (air data, AHRS, GPS) is of value
- Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC) is of value
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred)
