Job Description

Under the supervision of the department Supervisor or Manager, plans, directs and delivers high quality comprehensive nursing care in accordance with Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Center's clinical standards. Follows professional standards of nursing practice, procedures, and protocols. The primary location will be at the Renton Site.

Required Qualifications:
  • Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 90 days of hire: Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years recent experience in cardiology, specialty care, or acute care setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Training in equipment used within the specialty department.
  • Coursework/Training: Training in equipment and instrument Sterilization.
  • Coursework/Training: Training in sterile technique.
  • Upon hire: Certification in specialty (CCRN Certification, CNOR Certification, or CGRN Certification)

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
