What you will do:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Security Program Manager to lead the planning, design, implementation, and delivery of enterprise physical security projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of electronic access control systems, IP-based CCTV/video management systems, security networking, and infrastructure deployments, while demonstrating exceptional project management, vendor management, and stakeholder communication skills. This role is responsible for managing security technology projects from initial requirements gathering and design through installation, commissioning, testing, training, and project closeout. The Security Program Manager will work closely with internal business units, IT teams, security departments, architects, engineers, integrators, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with organizational standards.

How you will do it:
  • Project Management
    • Own outcomes with accountability, safety, and integrity by leading multiple security technology projects simultaneously from initiation through closeout.
    • Focus on what matters by developing comprehensive project charters, scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
    • Coordinate project activities among internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and security integrators.
    • Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
    • Win as one team by providing regular project status reports and executive-level updates.
    • Manage project budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
    • Ensure project deliverables meet quality, operational, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Security System Design & Implementation
    • Gather business and security requirements from stakeholders.
    • Review and ensure security system designs align with enterprise standards.
    • Manage deployments of critical systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection solutions.
    • Ensure proper integration of systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management
    • Improve every day by conducting performance reviews and ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
    • Facilitate issue resolution and escalate concerns as needed.
    • Oversee completion of contract deliverables and punch-list items.
  • Testing, Commissioning & Closeout
    • Develop and execute comprehensive testing and commissioning plans.
    • Validate all system functionalities meet performance requirements.
    • Ensure completion of all necessary documentation and turnover packages.

What we look for

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Security Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level security or IT infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Proven expertise in physical security systems, including:
    • Electronic Access Control Systems (e.g., CCURE 9000)
    • IP-based CCTV and Video Management Systems (e.g., Genetec)
    • Intrusion detection, intercom, visitor management, and biometric solutions
  • Strong knowledge of security system architecture, low-voltage infrastructure, and device integration.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating system design, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring adherence to security and operational standards.
  • Solid understanding of IT/networking fundamentals, including VLANs, IP addressing, network switches, and fiber/copper infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and their application within physical security environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Strong vendor and contractor management experience, including reviewing proposals, managing performance, and resolving issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional collaboration with IT, security, facilities, and business teams.
  • Ability to oversee testing, commissioning, and user acceptance processes, ensuring system performance and quality standards are met.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and project tracking


HIRING SALARY RANGE: $107,000- 161,000(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
