The Opportunity
  • Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
  • Experience candidates required.
  • Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, and BLS are required.
  • Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.
  • Current CA state license is a plus.


The Practice

St. Mary Medical Center - Long Beach, California
  • This hospital has served Long Beach for close to 100 years as a nonprofit, faith-based hospital.
  • Level II Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
  • 165-bed facility with 20 monitored ED beds, and 5 RME rooms.
  • Annual volume of 58,000.
  • Services offered include a cardiac and vascular center, surgical weight loss, maternity and the CARE Center, which is a recognized PrEP center of excellence.
