Training Phase (Year 1-2):
• Participate in a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of clinical informatics, including data analysis, system implementation, user training, and policy development.
• Obtain your Certificate in Clinical Informatics at Sacred Heart University through remote learning, designed by experts in healthcare informatics, ensuring a deep and practical understanding of both theoretical and applied informatics.
• Collaborate with cohort members on projects and case studies that reflect real-world challenges, fostering a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Application Phase (Post-Training)
• Implement and optimize clinical information systems across Hartford Healthcare facilities.

Requirements:
Educational Requirements: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant: graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, Masters/Doctoral degree preferred. Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant CT license, current certification, Federal DEA license required.
3 + years of experience as an Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner APRN, Proficiency with EPIC EMR, demonstrating ability to positively interact with medical/nursing and multidisciplinary teams, experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and quality improvement projects, familiarity and interest in using data analytics and reporting tools (Tableau) to improve patient care.
