JOB SUMMARY

Provides primary and/or specialty care to patients following established standards and practices in collaboration with physician(s) in the hospital setting, physician office setting, or both.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Clinic:

Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM

1:8 weekend rotation

Education:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an approved advanced practice nurse program.

Certification & Licensures:

- Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri.

- BLS Certification

Experience:

- Three years experience as an advanced practice nurse preferred.

- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment.

- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public.

- Ability to maintain quality control standards and maintain calm and effective reactions during emergency situations.

- Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions.

- Ability to learn and efficiently utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs.

Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge of medical terminology and examination, diagnostics and treatment room procedures.
