We are seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Ross County, OH Our community behavioral health team seeks a special nurse to provide integrated mental health and psychiatric services to clients across our service area. We seek a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to facilitate relationship-based psychiatric care and Medication-Assisted Treatment. Work will be based in one of our psychiatric locations in Athens, Ohio, Chillicothe, Ohio, or Columbus, Ohio. Will provide specialized training for the right candidate. Previous experience in psychiatric medicine or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification is preferred.
Essential Functions: - Provides pharmacological management services that are problem-focused and build on family and community strengths.
- Provides clinical supervision for assigned community behavioral health nurse.
- Provides general operational management for integrative healthcare worker.
- Works with healthcare professionals across systems to integrate behavioral health with primary care.
- Assesses or defines the strengths and needs of referred individuals and families.
- Carries out utilization review and quality assurance activities as directed.
- Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team composed of nursing, behavioral health specialists, and counselors to provide holistic integrative behavioral health services.
- Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services.
- Other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager.
Minimum Requirements: - Master of Science in Nursing. Licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse / certified nurse practitioner or certified nurse specialist.
- Experience with an array of Behavioral Health and Pharmacological Management services.
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Certification preferred.
- Broad knowledge of community service systems.
- Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
- Must be able to use database and word processing software.
- Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.
