Vascular Surgery

  • Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, including history taking, physical examinations, and patient education
  • Potential opportunity to assist in OR setting
  • Collaborate with vascular surgeon and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Manage patient care in the clinic setting, evaluating and treating both acute and chronic vascular conditions
  • Work in a blended role that includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Minimum Education:
  • Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
  • Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
  • Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:
  • 1 year Required

Licenses:
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:
  • BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
  • Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
