About Position: ***Provider will provide care at the PACE Burlington AND PACE Pittsboro facilities***- Work Locations: 1214 Vaughn Rd, Burlington, NC 27217 & 163 Chatham Business Dr, Pittsboro, NC 27312
- Facility Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: Providers at Piedmont Health Senior Care deliver the full range of ambulatory primary care services for the geriatric patient population. The providers are responsible for seeing their scheduled patients, providing coverage during the operating hours of the Center, providing telephone consultation as needed, performing administrative tasks associated with the provision of medical care, participating in quality improvement activities. Medical providers are expected to manage all patients and conditions within the scope of their training and approved privileges. There are no categorical limits on the type of clinical problem or patient seen by an advanced practice provider; however, severe illness and complex presenting complaints are understood to warrant consultation with a supervising physician. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Education/Experience: Minimum of 2 - 3 years clinical Advanced Practice Provider experience with geriatric/high-risk populations. The Advanced Practice Provider must have completed an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and received a certification as appropriate.
Licensure/Certifications: A an active North Carolina license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is required and must be kept current. Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from the Drug Enforcement Administration ("DEA certificate") is required and must be kept current. Basic Life Support and First Aid certification is required.
Patient Population Served: Geriatric
Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
Salary Range: $104,019.00 - $139,792.00 (prorated by FTE and commensurate with years of experience)
