Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
  • Perform hospital rounding, consultations, follow-up visits, and new patient evaluations
  • Provide outpatient care for full-time providers
  • Order and interpret EKGs, labs, imaging, and other cardiovascular diagnostic testing
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and cardiovascular health
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other members of the care team
  • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

Ocala, FL | Full-Time Clinic + Hospital OR PRN Inpatient | New Graduates Welcome

The Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida (CVI) is growing and seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team in Ocala, Florida. We have flexible opportunities available, including a full-time clinic + hospital position as well as PRN inpatient coverage.

Whether you're an experienced APP looking for your next opportunity, a new graduate ready to build a career in cardiology, or an experienced provider interested in flexible PRN work, we'd love to connect.

Cardiology experience is preferred, but not required for the full-time position. Motivated new graduates with a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine are encouraged to apply.
Opportunities Available
  • Full-Time: Monday-Friday with a mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital responsibilities, plus approximately one weekend per month
  • PRN: Inpatient cardiology coverage for ocassional weekends
What You'll Do
