  • Join a dynamic neurosurgery team; open to new graduates
  • Work full-time with a consistent schedule of five 8-hour days and no after-hours call
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create treatment plans for patients in an inpatient environment
  • Participate in pre-operative evaluations and provide post-operative care, including education for patients and discharge planning
  • Assist in coordinating care among multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

Minimum Education:
  • Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
  • Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
  • Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:
  • 1 year Required

Licenses:
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:
  • BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
  • Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
