Nocturnal cross coverage will include the advanced heart failure/MCS/heart transplant and general cardiology services. 13-hour shifts with weekend/holiday coverage are required and will be divided among the APP teams.

The APP will primarily manage patients with advanced heart failure, some of whom are recovering from heart transplant or durable left ventricular assist device (LVAD) surgery or have been re-admitted with complications of these therapies.
