Qualifications

Advanced Practice Provider, GI Surgical Oncology

The Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery, Department of Surgery, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our faculty. The incumbent will be affiliated with the NCI-designated UT Health San Antonio, MD Anderson Cancer Center. Clinical responsibilities will include providing cutting-edge care for benign and malignant breast disease, melanoma, colorectal, and malignant GI disease at our outpatient clinics and other practice sites, evaluating and managing surgical oncology patients, supporting multidisciplinary cancer clinics and participating in weekly Tumor Board meetings. Candidates must work with ancillary services including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, and other cancer specialists to provide optimal multidisciplinary care to patients.

Candidates must possess state licensure as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Compensation package will be commensurate with experience.
