Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough patient assessments during rounding
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
  • Spend full-time hours, including shifts from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 am to 3 pm

Advanced Practice Provider

General Surgery - Lewisburg

What you can expect at your practice:
  • Exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with our General Surgery team in Lewisburg
  • Full-time position; Days (7 am - 7 pm, 7 am - 3 pm)
  • Participate in surgical procedures as a first assist in the operating room
  • Candidate will work in-patient at Lewisburg Hospital
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments during rounding to evaluate patient status and progress
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care

Minimum Education:
  • Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
  • Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
  • Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:
  • 1 year Required

Licenses:
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:
  • BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
  • Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
  • Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
