  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Educate patients and their families about conditions and treatment options.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient care.
  • Engage in developing and revising policies and guidelines.
  • Contribute to education, quality initiatives, and research projects.

Job Summary

The APP will work with the Transplant Surgery team and provide comprehensive care to surgical patients as well as pre and post abdominal transplant patient population. The APP will work closely with the attending physician and other members of the healthcare team. Schedule is 4-10 hour shifts 6AM to 4PM with rotating weekends and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
  • PA-C or Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care position Nurse practitioner.
  • Prior experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is preferred
  • Maintains education, licensures, registrations, and certifications in good standing in accordance with State specifications.
  • Continues to develop knowledge and skills with on-going education provided by the TGH People Development Institute.
