Full Job Description
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) for our St. Mary's Medical Management Neuroscience Center. This position promotes excellence in patient care by advancing the quality, efficient, and cost-effective care, and scope of medical practice through clinical practice, education, consultation, research, and administrative roles. This position will consist of outpatient stroke follow-up clinic with occasional coverage of the inpatient team rounding for Stroke and Neurosurgery patients. There is no call time will be required.

EDUCATION:

Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program and holds a current license in the State of West Virginia. Attains and maintains limited prescriptive privileges according to the West Virginia Code.

EXPERIENCE:

Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience preferred.

SKILLS:

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, staff and other health care providers. Ability to use equipment needed for a thorough physician examination. Behaviors which reflect understanding, emotional stability, patience, tact and consideration for individual difference. BLS and ACLS required.
