Full Job Description
Exciting Opportunity at MSK:The Anesthesia Pain Service at MSK Basking Ridge is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive pain management care to adult oncology patients in the outpatient setting. The APP will function with a high level of autonomy, delivering evidence-based care for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain related to cancer and cancer treatments.

Role Overview:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of adult oncology patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Develop, implement, and manage individualized pain treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage pharmacologic therapies, including opioid and non-opioid regimens
  • Evaluate and adjust multimodal pain management strategies in collaboration with attending physicians
  • Provide patient and family education regarding pain management plans and expectations
  • Document all patient encounters, treatment plans, and communications accurately and timely in the Epic electronic medical record system
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal prescribing and documentation regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Function independently within scope of practice while maintaining collaboration with attending pain physicians


Key Qualifications:

Additional Information:
  • Location: MSK Basking Ridge, 136 Mountainview Blvd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920
  • Hours: Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week flex, 8 am - 6 pm (Monday-Friday), 1 day remote; no weekends or holidays.
  • Reporting to: Manager, APP


Pay Range: $155,500-$197,400/annually
