Job Duties

Description of Job Duty

The Advanced Practice Partner (APP) (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) will primarily perform diagnosing, orders, conducts, supervises and interprets diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease.

The APP promotes health and the prevention of illness and injury. The APP practices autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professional to treat and manage patient health problems. The role of the APP includes, direct patient/family care, consultation, research, patient/families/ groups/ and communities advocacy, performance improvement, and leadership & professional development.
