  • Support first builds, pilot runs, and production ramp-up
  • Optimize SMT, through-hole, box build, and test processes
  • Drive yield improvement, scrap reduction, and process capability enhancements
  • Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Production
  • Interface with customers on technical and manufacturing matters

Job Summary

The Advanced Operations Engineer leads new product introduction (NPI) and process development efforts to ensure products are successfully transitioned from concept to full-scale production. This role serves as the technical interface between customers, program management, and manufacturing to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities:

SMT Process & Equipment Operation
  • Lead technical activities for new product introductions fromquotethrough production release
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
  • Develop manufacturing process flows, work instructions, and tooling requirements
  • Support first builds, pilot runs, and production ramp-up
  • OptimizeSMT, through-hole, box build, and test processes
  • Drive yield improvement, scrap reduction, and process capability
  • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Production
  • Interface with customers on technical and manufacturing topics
