Responsibilities

  • Provide medical standby services and respond to emergencies according to training
  • Set up and update STARS site numbers, completing required paperwork
  • Conduct headcounts and maintain safety regulations on site
  • Review and advise on emergency response plans for specific sites
  • Conduct site safety tours and hazard assessments before job commencement
  • Attend safety meetings and review SDS for hazardous materials
  • Report incidents and assist in investigative processes
  • Participate in emergency drills as required
  • Maintain medical equipment and submit biweekly checklists
  • Exhibit professionalism and commitment towards all personnel

Bravo Target Safety is looking for Alberta Licensed Advanced Care Paramedics to join our team on a casual basis out of our Leduc office. This is an exciting opportunity to begin or advance your career within Bravo Target Safety.

Position Description

Job Duties:

  • Provide medical standby-by services and respond to any emergency as per your training and provincial scope of practice
  • Set-up or update STARS site number, and complete BTS paperwork package
  • Conduct and maintain proper and accurate headcount unless otherwise advised
  • Review and advise on emergency response plans as it relates to a specific site and scope
  • Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to completing hazard assessments
  • Participate in all Safety Meetings. Review SDS for hazardous materials
  • Incident reporting and assist in investigations as required
  • Participate in emergency drills as required by Bravo Target Safety and/or the Client
  • Maintain medical equipment in ready state and submit checklists biweekly
  • Maintain a professional and always committed attitude towards all personal on site
  • Other duties as assigned


Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must have an active Advanced Care Paramedic license with the Alberta College of Paramedics
  • 2 years of prehospital experience
  • Oil and gas or construction experience is an asset
  • BLS, ACLS, ITLS
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • H2S Alive
  • Demonstrated leadership in all aspects of the job with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to work away from home for extended periods of time, work long hours and be able to work both day and night shift
  • Class 4 driver's license with 4 or less demerits
  • Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing ?
