Applications are being accepted for the position of Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program Coordinator at the East Valley Institute of Technology's Main Campus - 1601 W Main St in Mesa. Job Summary:Under the general supervision of the Associate Chief Academic Officer of Adult Education, the Adult Basic Education (ABE) Coordinator oversees the planning, implementation, and daily operations of EVIT's Adult Basic Education program. The coordinator supports HSE instructors, tutors, and instructional aides, supervises post-secondary general education staff, ensures compliance with federal, state, and EVIT requirements, and promotes student success through quality instructional services. Responsibilities include monitoring program performance, managing resources, maintaining records and reporting, supporting enrollment and retention efforts, and collaborating with internal and external partners to expand educational opportunities for adult learners.
Job Type: Full Time, 12 Month Exempt
Salary: $80,088.00 - 103,000.00. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Education and Experience: - Master's Degree preferred in adult education, education and/or leadership, and
- Three or more years of teaching experience,
- One or more years of increasingly responsible supervisory experience, or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Supervisor/Principal or higher ADE Certification.
Licensing/Certification and Other Requirements:- Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card by start date.
- Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
- Adult Education Teaching Certification in good standing by start date.
