Full Job Description
About: Lyngblomsten, a 225-bed care center located in Saint Paul near Como Park, is in search of a Full Time Admissions Nurse!

The posted pay range of this hourly position is $35.95 to $46.80. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for facilitating admissions and discharges on busy Transitional Care Unit.
  • Conducts new patient intake, including review and input of physician admission orders, facility protocols, initial assessments, and unit orientation
  • Completes discharge paperwork, reviews with patient and/or responsible party and assures coordination of services
  • Provides superior customer service, maintaining a high level of mental and emotional tolerance, sensitivity, diplomacy, sound judgment, and professional attitude when dealing with patients, families, partners and co-workers
  • All other duties as assigned
