Have you been thinking about being a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator? We are now hiring an Administrator in Training (AIT) to be the newest member of our awesome team! If you worked or currently working in long term care/skilled nursing industry and have been thinking about becoming a LNHA, this is your opportunity! You will gain experience in various settings and receive comprehensive training from us to help you launch your healthcare career.

Salary Range: $85k-$90k annual.

If yes, how you will contribute to the team:

The primary purpose of an Administrator in Training (AIT) is to develop the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and direct the day-to-day functions of a facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities. The length of the program is dependent upon state regulations, past work experience and Administrator Preceptor evaluation(s).

Must haves:

  • 1-3 years' experience in long-term care
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to thrive in a complex environment
  • Ability to relate to and work with physically and/or mentally ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people professionally and respectfully
  • Ability to understand and follow regulations
  • Ability to adapt and handle pressure
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care


Nice to have:

  • Experience in long-term care or related field with supervisory background
  • Bachelor's degree specifically in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration (or related field)
