ADMINISTRATOR
Job Description:
Directly supervises the Facility Department Directors and is responsible for assuring that employees in all departments perform their jobs appropriately.
Establishes and maintains personnel policies and department policies and procedures; and assures that these policies and procedures are carried out by the staff.
Follows policies and procedures for compliance with federal, state, and local standards for Nursing Facility operation, and reviews compliance of staff with policies and procedures.
Interviews and selects competent personnel to supervise/direct activities of all departments.
Participates in and conducts in-service training for supervisory personnel and staff.
Prepares an annual budget for the facility and evaluates the financial status of the facility monthly.
Represents the Nursing Facility in various outside activities and in dealing with various agencies including governmental and third party payers.
