Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Corporate Business Office (0CB), Deputy for Business/Business Director of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.

Duties

Help

  • You will serve as the Requirements and Procurement Input Development (RAPID) Acquisition Team Lead for 0CB by providing support related to daily tasking procurement strategies and coaching and mentoring team members.
  • You will prepare Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) packages, track procurements, prepare large contract packages, and provide other acquisition-related support.
  • You will develop and oversee overarching acquisition strategies/plans and lead technical evaluations in the preparation of procurement packages, review proposals and oral presentations, and prepare contract documents.
  • You will develop and maintain training documents (related to policies, processes, and schedules) on the SharePoint site for technical members to use.
  • You will stay abreast of current acquisition and procurement policies and keep team members and Division leadership informed of guidance.
  • You will influence the development of new procurement policies to ensure that organization program needs are considered.
  • You will conduct all acquisition training for 0CB RAPID Team Members.
  • You will serve as a Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) Acceptor for 0CB RAPID Team.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing leadership or expertise in the execution of government procurement strategies, such as Government Purchase Card (GPC/PCard) programs, Military Standard requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP), Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAPs), or Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliant contracts.

Additional information

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The full performance level of NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14. The salary range shown in the announcement represents all of the positions within the band, including GS-14 equivalent (high grade) positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $158,322).

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
