Description
Administrative Services Manager for Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) based in Port Townsend, WA.
Duties

The Administrative Services Manager is responsible for coordinating agency governance functions, managing upstream contracts and agreements, and overseeing risk management and insurance administration. The position ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting the Executive Director and leadership team in maintaining effective administrative office operations.

As a member of the Management Team, promotes interdepartmental collaboration and addresses organization-wide issues, including strategic planning, budget development and monitoring, program development, program oversight and problem solving.

Supervises assigned personnel including selection, scheduling, performance evaluations, authorizing leave, approving timesheets, staff training, administering disciplinary action (including recommendations for termination), resolving concerns, team building, and goal setting.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in public administration, business administration, public policy, or related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative, contracts management, or governmental operations experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with a Council of Governments, regional government, or public agency
  • Experience managing government contracts or grants.
  • Familiarity with public meeting governance requirements.
  • Experience working in the field of public administration.
  • Legal background a plus.

Requires current WDL & insured vehicle.

Supplemental Information
40 hrs./wk. Non-Exempt.
