Full Job Description
  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    • Supports the department manager in monitoring and adjusting the operation/productivity of the Pharmacy department and in the management of department personnel. Performs the duties of an Operations Manager; coordinating central operations for the department which includes personnel, technology, sterile process, medication procurement management. Leads efforts to improve workflow efficiency and provides oversight of the controlled substance program.
  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required.
    • One (1) of the following required:
      • Satisfactory completion of an ASHP-accredited residency in pharmacy practice.
      • One (1) year pharmacist experience.
    • Leadership experience preferred.
    • Hospital management experience or PGY1 preferred.
    • All job offers are contingent upon the candidate passing a pre-employment/post offer drug screen.
    • GSR Pharmacy:
      • If responsible for participating on the pharmacy code response team, then Healthcare Provider Level BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required within 90 days of hire.
