The
Actuarial Analyst II completes projects and performs complex actuarial studies.
How You Will Make an Impact:- Pricing Strategies: Assist in the development and refinement of pricing strategies/studies to maintain competitive and profitable products in the Individual and Small Employer Commercial Markets
- Rating Models & Guidance: Build and maintain rating models; provide analytical insights and guidance to ensure accurate pricing for existing products and potential new market entries.
- Special Pricing Projects: Collaborate on special projects to support growth strategies.
- Regulatory Support: Work with internal teams and state/federal regulatory agencies to prepare rate filings and address policy updates, ensuring ongoing compliance
- Coordinates/directs special actuarial projects.
- Obtains, verifies, analyzes and models data including risk reporting and forecasting.
Minimum Requirements:Requires a BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams and a minimum of 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $84,744 to $138,672
