MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Activity Security Representative (ASR) to join our team in
Colorado Springs, CO.
This role supports the customer's facility and organization by providing essential, multi-disciplined security operations. You will help deliver vital "day-to-day" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities within a mission-driven, highly secure environment.
ResponsibilitiesYou will help execute critical administrative and protective measures to secure our nation's most sensitive assets. Your daily operations will include the following vital functions:
- Perform classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence while maintaining the document accountability database.
- Process, track, and safely destroy classified materials, magnetic media, and incoming/outgoing mail.
- Manage facility access control, including processing visit notices, issuing badges, performing entry/exit inspections, and escorting visitors.
- Conduct comprehensive candidate background reviews using the Defense Central Index of Investigations (DCII), Joint Personnel Access System (JPAS), and SAPNP systems.
- Execute Special Access Program Nomination Process Questionnaires and perform data entry and record checks within the Joint Access Database (JADE).
- Administer personnel security files, update customer-sponsored billets, and deliver clear security indoctrinations and education programs.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree; an additional 4 years or related experience might be substituted for a degree.
- 6+ years of related security experience
- 3+ years supporting SCI or SAR programs.
- Ability to complete the following training with six months of hire: DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training, Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), SIMS database and JPAS/DISS.
Preferred Qualifications- Deep familiarity with ICDs, JAFANs, DoD Manuals, and other foundational national security policy documents.
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic military-civilian environment.
Clearance Requirements- You must possess a current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- You must demonstrate a willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Physical Requirements- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, machine and computer printer.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $104,200.00-$172,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
