Full Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Activity Security Representative - III to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

This role supports our customer's facility and organization by providing essential, multi-disciplined security support on a day-to-day basis. You will help ensure the integrity of Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities within a dedicated, in-office team environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence while maintaining documentation database accountability.
  • Process, track, and destroy classified materials, magnetic media, and associated daily administrative logs. Transfer electronic data files to internal customers and maintain extensive customer database point of contact listings.
  • Manage facility access control, including processing visit notices, escorting visitors, and preparing badges.
  • Perform data entry in the Personnel Access Security System and Joint Access Database (JADE).
  • Prepare and review Program Access Requests (PARs) and execute Special Access Program Nomination Process Questionnaires.
  • Ability to complete the following training within six months of hire: DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP, SIMS database, JPAS/DISS and JADE
  • Applicants must be willing to travel extensively within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR) via air and ground transportation.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree; an additional 4 years of experience might be considered for a degree.
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • 5+ years of experience with SCI or SAR programs.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong familiarity with security policy manuals, appropriate ICDs, JAFANs, and DoD Manuals.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with DoD, military, civilian, and industry personnel.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • High degree of initiative, creativity, and originality requiring minimal supervision.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Applicants must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, machine and computer printer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $163,100.00-$289,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
