What You Will Do:An Acquisition Specialist will support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) with analytical, consulting, and/or assessments of technical, business & administrative goals of a Department of War (DoW) research program. You will perform analysis requiring advanced knowledge of the DoW procurement process and methodologies.
What You Will Need:- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Masters Degree
- SIX (6) or more years' experience with Department of War (DoW) acquisition processes. Experience should include, but not be limited to:
- Experience with varied acquisition methodologies and strategies within the DoW
- Demonstrated knowledge of procurement requirements, as required within the FAR
- Experience working with contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and other transactions
What Would Be Nice to Have:- Prior experience working with DARPA
- Experience leveraging and integrating AI tools to improve processes and workflow efficiency
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to be flexible and readily adaptable to change
- Ability to organize, multi-task, and respond to quick turn-around requests
- Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate the intellectual content of scientific and technological information to both technical and lay audiences quickly and effectively
- Possession of outstanding attention to detail
- Possession of clear and succinct oral, visual, and written communication skills
