Qualifications/Requirements:
We are seeking an Acquisition Program Manager Branch Chief responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and overseeing the contractual, financial, and technical aspects of complex acquisition programs throughout designated phases of the acquisition lifecycle. Provides strategic leadership for planning, execution, and management, ensuring compliance with acquisition policies, cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Integrates cross-functional efforts across engineering, contracting, logistics, program management, manufacturing, and test organizations while overseeing contractor performance and acquisition strategy. Represents the organization with senior government and industry stakeholders, resolves complex technical and programmatic issues, and advises leadership on risks, resource requirements, and program execution to ensure successful delivery of advanced aeronautical systems and capabilities.

Demonstrated knowledge of program management schedule, planning, identification, cost management, status accounting, verification, and technical performance measures.
Demonstrated knowledge of program management planning, identification, change management, status accounting, verification, and audits.
Must have APDP Acquisition Program Management Practitioner certifications and highly desired to have Advanced Certification, if not, must obtain within the required training period and maintain continuous learning points.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Branch Leadership: Leads a cross functional branch consisting of five unique mission oriented integrated product teams in program planning, policy implementation, and management for assigned aeronautical programs, providing expert guidance, developing procedures, resolving all functional issues, and briefing senior officials on programmatic successes/stalemate.
Program Representation: Serves as the organization's senior representative to government and industry, presenting program status, advocating objectives, negotiating solutions, and resolving critical acquisition issues.
Contractor Oversight: Monitors contractor performance, approves contractual actions, evaluates program changes, conducts site visits, and ensures compliance with program objectives and contract requirements.
Program Management: Directs and integrates cross-functional teams, tracks program performance, establishes management controls, manages risks, and ensures programs remain within cost, schedule, and baseline objectives.
Acquisition Strategic Execution: Manages contractual, financial, and technical aspects of complex acquisition programs throughout the lifecycle, develops acquisition strategies, supports source selection, advises leadership on risks and solutions, and adjusts funding, schedules, and resources to achieve mission objectives.
