Position Overview
Join us in our support to the US Space Force (HQ USSF) Commercial Satellite Communication (COMSATCOM) Office (CSCO), where you will help shape the future of assured, resilient SATCOM for our warfighters and mission partners. As a key member of a highly collaborative, mission-focused team, you will apply your expertise to help deliver innovative commercial SATCOM capabilities, integrate a transformative COMSATCOM business model into the broader SATCOM enterprise, and translate complex operational needs into effective, affordable solutions. In this role, you will work directly with COMSATCOM customers and stakeholders, providing trusted guidance, insightful analysis, and clear recommendations that drive real-world impact in a rapidly evolving space domain. Job duties include:
Responsibilities
- Support acquisition and program analysis activities for CSCO's busines units, with a focus on contracting for COMSATCOM services and interfacing with DoD, federal, and international customers to ensure requirements are met.
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and tracking of Inter-agencyAgreements (IAAs) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, including pre-filling agreements, coordinating routing, and maintaining filing systems for executed documents.
- Serve as a supporting liaison between CSCO Program Managers, customers, and other DoD entities on IAA and FMS matters; respond to inquiries and report weekly case status.
- Provide guidance to authorized international partners on the process for obtaining COMSATCOM services, including applicable FMS and Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreement (ACSA) procedures.
- Maintain an updated record of CSCO contracts and task orders; support preparation of Contract Briefings and ensure deliverables are tracked and filed in accordance with program requirements.
- Assist the EMSS Program Office with acquisition activities, including market research, Market Research Reports, cost estimates, and supporting documentation for new acquisitions and contract modifications.
- Support development of acquisition-related documents including Statements of Need, Performance Work Statements, and Work Breakdown Structures under the direction of the Senior Acquisition Analyst.
- Coordinate with Program Managers and CORs to ensure deliverables are submitted on schedule and meet contract terms and conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, international relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of DoD or federal acquisition experience, with exposure to pre-award and/or post-award activities.

- Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Familiarity with Interagency Agreement processes or Foreign Military Sales procedures; ability to learn and apply IAA and FMS frameworks under guidance of senior staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft acquisition documentation and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting IAA preparation, FMS case administration, or international customer coordination in a DoD environment.
- Experience supporting program or project management operations in a defense or national security environment
- Exposure to COMSATCOM, satellite communications, or related space systems acquisition.
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this role is $85,000- $115,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
