Full Job Description
The Role

You'll join a local team of industry-leading specialists while contributing to projects across the globe. This role offers the opportunity to manage multiple assignments, work directly with clients, and collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors. You'll also support business development efforts, including proposal development and client presentations.

What You'll Do
  • Solve challenging acoustic, noise, and vibration problems for local and international clients
  • Plan and perform data collection, modeling, post-processing, and technical analysis
  • Conduct field measurements and site inspections
  • Prepare clear, well-documented technical reports outlining methodology, findings, and recommendations
  • Support project pursuits through proposal writing, marketing materials, and technical papers
  • Collaborate across disciplines and mentor junior staff members


What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science (advanced degree preferred) with 5+ years of professional experience in acoustics, noise, and vibration control
  • Demonstrated expertise using sound and vibration measurement instrumentation and industry modeling software (e.g., CadnaA, ODEON, STAMSON, or equivalent)
  • Strong command of physical acoustics, vibration theory, and applicable regulatory codes, standards, and permitting requirements
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical analysis and documentation while managing budgets, schedules, and client expectations
  • Experience interfacing with regulatory agencies, interpreting mechanical/electrical/process drawings, and mentoring junior technical staff


Compensation
The rate for this position generally is $90,000 - $110,000 annually. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by Ontario Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
