About this Position
As part of the Mexico ACM Application Engineering team, you will support customers across a designated region, providing technical expertise, driving innovation, and contributing to business growth through customer-focused engineering solutions.
What you'll do

Business Growth & Opportunity Management
  • Drive application engineering opportunities and support the growth pipeline within the assigned territory.
  • Provide technical support to retain and expand existing business.
  • Support CRM projects and troubleshooting activities to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, test reports, and opportunity updates within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.

Laboratory & Product Testing Support
  • Coordinate and execute test plans, including logistics, laboratory requests, and testing activities.
  • Analyze results and prepare technical reports and recommendations.Manage sample requests and coordinate with local, regional, and global laboratories.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory and sample management processes using digital tools.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, laboratory procedures, and 5S practices.
  • Support product evaluation, validation, and technical benchmarking activities.

Technical Customer Support
  • Provide technical assistance regarding adhesives, applications, and equipment through virtual and on-site interactions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend effective solutions for customers.
  • Conduct customer trials, product validations, and application assessments.
  • Collaborate with Application Engineering teams, Technical Sales Engineers (TSEs), and Focus Market teams to support
  • key accounts and strategic projects.
  • Support value proposition development through technical insights and application expertise.
  • Conduct technical competitive benchmarking and market assessments.
  • Utilize digital engineering, calculation, and AI-based tools to enhance technical decision-making.

Technical Training & Knowledge Sharing
  • Organize and deliver technical training programs for customers, distributors, sales teams, and new employees.
  • Facilitate programs such as Henkel U, Loctite U, onboarding sessions, and specialized application training.
  • Support market-focused training initiatives for strategic industries and applications.
  • Promote best practices and knowledge sharing across the Application Engineering community.

Innovation & Product Launch Support
  • Support new product introductions and innovation projects.
  • Develop technical launch packages, including technical documentation, training materials, videos, and application guides.
  • Contribute to sustainability-focused value propositions and customer solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical/engineering field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Application Engineering, Technical Service, Product Development, Manufacturing, or a related technical role.
  • Experience with adhesives, industrial applications, or manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
  • Customer-facing technical support experience is a plus.
