Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Supervisor

The role...

The Accounting Supervisor will play a key role within the Accounting team, primarily leading day-to-day Accounts Receivable and transactional accounting operations while supporting month-end close and general accounting activities. This is a hands-on accounting operations leadership role focused on AR, reconciliations, cash application, and team supervision.

How you'll make an impact...
  • Support monthly and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and AR-related reporting.
  • Lead daily Accounts Receivable operations including collections, invoicing support, customer account resolution, and cash application processes.
  • Supervise and support the AR team, including workload management, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Manage factoring processes, including receivable submissions, reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Customer Service, and Sales teams to resolve customer account and billing issues.
  • Support fixed asset tracking, depreciation entries, and other routine accounting activities.
  • Assist with sales and use tax documentation and other recurring accounting compliance activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, reporting accuracy, and workflow efficiency within the accounting function.


What do you bring...
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Candidates with strong Accounts Receivable, billing, cash application, or general accounting backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience in Accounts Receivable, general accounting, billing, or transactional accounting functions required. Prior experience supervising or leading a small team preferred.
  • Strong understanding of AR processes, reconciliations, cash applications, and general ledger accounting required.
  • This position is best suited for candidates with experience in operational accounting environments rather than corporate finance, FP&A, or Controller-level leadership roles.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills to strategically manage and drive positive change within the organization.
  • The ability to summarize data logically and communicate information and recommendations clearly to all appropriate contacts.
  • Team player, experience in building effective cross functional relationships with business partners. Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point tools, and SAP. Onsite presence is required to fulfill this job.
