Full Job Description
Job Summary
Ensures that all obligations for goods and services are recorded and paid efficiently and accurately in accordance with controls and procedures. Project and manage cash flow needs for maximum cash flow. Responsible that all invoicing, credit memos, customer credit evaluations and collections of Accounts Receivables are also performed in accordance with established company controls and procedures.

Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Maintains accurate and timely recording of all obligations by instituting paperwork/procedures on computer systems that will provide adequate supporting documentation for all payments.
  • Identifies and manages the most efficient and lowest cost method of payment for all vendors, including international and automatic periodic payments.
  • Maintains open account payment terms with all vendors while maximizing use of cash. Ensures prompt and proper communications with vendors.
  • Instructs and guides accounts payable personnel in appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Controls and maintains issuance and use of company paid credit cards and direct billings for expenses.
  • Maintains controls to ensure that only approved obligations of the company are paid.
  • Monitors vendor statements and volume of disbursements to identify potential problems and future cash flow needs.
  • Reviews payables and collaborates with purchasing department to ensure payments are made according to schedule (i.e., shipments received ahead of scheduled delivery dates).
  • Assists in accounting for timing differences between invoices and material receipt to provide accurate recording of obligations.
  • Coordinates payable forecast with purchase commitments.
  • Coordinate and monitor Accounts Receivable balances.
  • Establish and maintain good customer relations.
  • Coordinate and schedule receivable computer runs to meet department deadlines.
  • Daily attendance is an essential to this position.
  • The person assigned to this position has the full responsibility and authority to execute all essential duties as described above.


Education, Experience, Licenses and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
