This Accounting Supervisor role will support the Global Business Financial Services organization (GBFS) and may also partner with the AR COE (Accounts Receivable Center of Excellence). This accounting function is responsible for providing accounting oversight of several key areas performed by the GBFS organization, including admin fees, customer rebates, and supplier chargebacks.
Ideal candidate will be local to Columbus, Ohio with the ability to work a hybrid schedule and come into the Dublin, OH office at least one day a week.

- 3+ years of accounting experience in related field, preferred
- Bachelor27s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Audit & controls background preferred
- CPA Preferred
- SAP or HFM Experience preferred
- Blackline experience highly desired
- Alteryx, Power BI, or other automation experience highly desired
What is expected of you and others at this level
- Oversees work conducted by outsourced staffandmaintains the integrity of accounting records by ensuring that outsourced staff comply with accounting policies and procedures
- Assistsin the management of the monthly financial close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and performing timely review of results for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP.
- Drives timely completion of local financial statements filings and other compliance requirements for several legal entities concurrently through coordination with local service providers, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and External Auditors
- Performsregular review of accounting processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement to ensure accurate, timely and efficient processing under an appropriate control environment
- Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
- Performsspecial projects and financial analysis to support the business needs as requested
- Understands ASC 606 guidance to review customer contracts and apply concepts for necessary reserves
- Administers and exercises policies and procedures
- Frequently interacts with subordinates, and peer groups at various management levels
- Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution
