Full Job Description
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our Global Consolidations & Reporting team at our corporate headquarters in Liberty Lake, Washington. This team partners closely with Compliance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), SEC Reporting, Information Technology, and Finance Transformation to deliver accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. The team also drives operational excellence by enhancing close processes, improving platform reliability, and supporting scalable finance system capabilities across Oracle ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM platforms.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, accountable, and collaborative, with a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, data integrity, and process improvement. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to critical financial operations while helping advance innovative solutions that support a customer-centric finance organization.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
  • Prepare and record journal entries, account analyses, and supporting documentation in accordance with established close deadlines.
  • Monitor, analyze, and enhance financial data validation processes to support accurate global consolidated financial results.
  • Maintain and support the Oracle ERP General Ledger chart of accounts structure, ensuring consistency, governance, and data integrity.
  • Develop, administer, and support Oracle Cloud EPM Narrative Reporting solutions to improve reporting efficiency and transparency.
  • Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve reconciling items in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support consolidation activities, including intercompany accounting, foreign currency translation and remeasurement, and related financial reporting processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, IT, Compliance, and Transformation teams to drive agile problem-solving and process improvements.
  • Support a strong internal control environment by executing accounting controls and assisting with compliance-related activities.
  • Gather, analyze, and summarize financial information to provide meaningful insights that support informed business decisions.
  • Create and maintain clear, complete, and accurate process documentation that supports operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and scalability of accounting processes and financial systems.
  • Build authentic and collaborative partnerships across the organization to support business objectives and customer-focused outcomes.
  • Demonstrate accountability for the quality, accuracy, and integrity of financial data and reporting deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2+ years of professional accounting experience.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting close processes.
  • Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while building positive cross-functional relationships.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, accountability, and delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • CPA certification or active CPA candidate status.
  • Experience supporting financial consolidations and reporting functions within a global organization.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle ERP, or Oracle Cloud EPM applications.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Narrative Reporting (NR), and Enterprise Data Management (EDM).
  • Knowledge of system governance, master data management, and financial data controls.
  • Experience working with large data sets and financial systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvements, automation initiatives, or finance transformation efforts.
  • Experience working in a technology, utilities, energy, or infrastructure-focused organization.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience and may vary by location. The base salary is $75,000-108,000 annually.
