Accounting ManagerThe
Accounting Manager will lead and develop accounting staff, oversee month-end and year-end close activities, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements that enhance scalability and operational efficiency. This individual will serve as a trusted business partner to the Corporate Controller and CFO, providing technical accounting guidance and financial analysis to support informed decision-making across the organization.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a balance of technical accounting expertise, operational execution, and team development.
What You'll Be DoingAs the Accounting Manager, you'll be a trusted partner in the business. You will be owning the numbers, guiding the team, and driving improvement. You will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Manage and oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Review and approve journal entries and account to maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Partner with the Corporate Controller to evaluate accounting implications of business initiatives, operational changes, acquisitions, and other strategic projects.
- Research, interpret, and implement technical accounting guidance and provide recommendations on accounting matters.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, reporting capabilities, and system efficiencies to support the company growth.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Lead the preparation and support of annual audits, reviews, and other external financial reporting requirements.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance analyses.
- Collaborate with operational leaders and cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility, support business decisions, and drive organizational performance.
- Monitor and strengthen internal control processes, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, and appropriately documented.
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, investigate variances, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Serve as a key accounting and finance resource across the organization, helping translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
- Support organizational growth initiatives, including process standardization, systems enhancements, and integration of new business activities.
- Provide leadership and oversight across accounting operations while maintaining a hands-on approach to solving accounting and business challenges.

- Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree Degree Preferred: Choose an item.
- Certifications Preferred: Years of Experience: 8 +
- Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
- Prior experience leading accounting staff and managing month-end close processes.
- Experience supporting external audits and working directly with audit firms.
- Experience in a complex, multi-entity, multi-location, or $250M+ revenue organization strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience applying technical accounting guidance and solving complex accounting issues.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership on financial and operational initiatives.
