Position SummaryThe Accounting Manager is responsible for the daily accounting associated with Plant Accounting including supervision of staff.

- Manage and oversee the daily operations relating to Plant Accounting.
- Review and approve team's journal entries, cash wires and RM processing.
- Monthly close responsibilities including Plant PLs, COGS and expense accruals in Oracle..
- Assist in requests from both internal and external auditors.
- Review reconciliations to ensure that they are prepared properly, follow-up on any unusual items.
- Make and implement recommendations to improve accounting processes & procedures, working closely with IT.
- Manage scheduled processes in Oracle.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting field; additional supervisory experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: - Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Strong organizational skills along with problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong computer skills necessary.
- Able to meet deadlines with attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
