Position Summary
The Accounting Manager - Client Advisory Services (CAS) is responsible for leading complex accounting engagements while serving as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients. This role combines technical accounting expertise, client relationship management, and team leadership to ensure the delivery of accurate financial reporting and exceptional client service. The Accounting Manager also mentors staff, oversees workflow, and contributes to the firm's continued growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing responsive, professional, and solution-oriented service.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while proactively managing expectations and identifying business needs.
Lead client meetings and confidently present financial information and accounting recommendations.
Review general ledger activity, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Review financial statements and workpapers to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards.
Oversee multiple accounting engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
Research and resolve complex accounting issues while providing technical guidance to team members.
Stay current with accounting standards, regulatory updates, and emerging accounting technologies.
Supervise, mentor, coach, and develop staff and senior accountants.
Lead workflow planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet client deadlines.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
