Position Title: Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager will own key accounting functions, lead the month-end close process, support financial planning and forecasting, and provide valuable insights that help guide business decisions. Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000 / Year DOEAccounting Manager Responsibilities: - Own month-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage work papers and assist in onboarding and offboarding processes
- Conduct financial projections and oversee accounts payable
- Handle cash flow management and related banking activities
- Analyze pricing strategies and margins for ad hoc projects
Accounting Manager Requirements: - 5+ years of accounting management experience in a company with revenue of $5 million or more
- Exposure to deferred revenue, multi-state payroll, and accrual accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Tech-focused with a willingness to embrace new technology implementations
- Understanding of cash flow and projections, with the ability to gather necessary data
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and XLOOKUP
- Must possess a BA or BS degree
- CPA certification is preferred
- Experience in a professional services firm is a plus
- Familiarity with partnership-type structures is advantageous
- Experience with Power BI is preferred
- BA in accounting is preferred
