Full Job Description
  • Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team while building the scalable processes and operational best practices needed to support a growing organization.
  • Own the full close cycle - monthly, quarterly, and annual - ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting that leadership can rely on.
  • Serve as a strategic cross-functional partner to operations, sales, and executive leadership, driving budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
  • Elevate financial visibility through rigorous variance analysis, actionable reporting insights, and data-driven recommendations that influence decision-making.
  • Strengthen the control environment by leading audit readiness, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives that enhance the integrity of accounting operations.
  • Take a leading role in financial analytics, systems modernization, and high-impact special projects that directly support company growth and operational efficiency.

The Background That Fits:
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with prior leadership or team management responsibility.
  • Strong background in month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience working within multi-entity, manufacturing, distribution, or operationally complex business environments preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or similar cloud-based platforms.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally, communicate effectively with leadership, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred, though strong operational accounting leadership experience will also be highly valued.
