Full Job Description
This is an exempt on-site role, located at our New Providence CBO location.

Compensation Range: $55,431.64 - $115,127.25/Annual (Dependent on Experience)

The Staff Accountant reports to the VP of Accounting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability and financial reporting, conducting research and analysis of expenses.

  • Assist VP of Accounting in the month-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
  • Review and process credit card expenses, including coding expenses and researching charges.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
  • Maintain operating lease agreements for equipment, etc.
  • Verify and reconcile vendor contracts.
  • Assist in special projects as necessary.


Experience: At least 1-3 years' experience in accounting.

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Other Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good record keeping.
  • Proficient in Excel.
