Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Randall Construction Holdings is currently seeking a top-tier Accounting Controller to work in our Apopka, FL Headquarters. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.This is a hands-on role that will require you to actively participate in our accounting operations while leading others.

Position Summary:

To maintain control of all aspects of job costing, reporting, resources, and revenue. As the Accounting Controller, you will have responsibility for overseeing financial statements, invoices, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Additionally, you will be compiling financial reports based on financial statements and implementing policies and procedures for financial reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, maintain, and improveaccurate accounting systems, records, and standards.
  • Ensure adherence to corporatepolicies and procedures for the accounting process.
  • Manage monthly and year-endclosings for multiple divisions/companies.
  • Manage the reconciliation ofbalance sheet accounts for multiple divisions/companies.
  • Lead the budget and forecastprocesses in close partnership with Divisional Operations.
  • Assist Divisional Operationswith the evaluation of large capital expenditures.
  • Review and analyze financialresults with Operations and Senior Management including measurement togoals and objectives.
  • Work with divisional managementto ensure all revenue-generating jobs are billed on a timely basis.
  • Utilize financial data andanalysis to assist Operations and Senior Management with problem-solvingand decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain properinternal controls in accordance with accepted accounting standards.
  • Perform audits to ensurefinancial and operational processes are functioning as intended.
  • Perform special projects,studies, and other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

Desired Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Strong experience in Commercial Construction Accounting.
  • Solid leadership and management skills.
  • 5+ years of accountingexperience at Senior Accountant level or higher with previous Controllerexperience.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP (GenerallyAccepted Accounting Principles).
  • Strong job cost and generalaccounting skills.
  • Critical thinking andanalytical skills that reflect the ability to analyze a broad range ofissues and provide solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal,communication and leadership skills, with the ability to preparecompelling presentations.
  • Ability to communicateeffectively in written and verbal formats including individually and ingroup settings.
  • Excellent computer skills withknowledge of Microsoft office/Excel products.
  • Ability to read, write, andspeak English (Bilingual English/Spanish a plus).

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily an office position and, as such, you must be able to sit up to six or more hours in an eight-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job.
