We're looking for a highly analytical **Accounting Analyst** who enjoys working with data, building reports, and improving how accounting teams operate. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to go beyond traditional accounting work-combining accounting, data, and process improvement to help the business operate more effectively.
This role is ideal for someone who brings strong accounting fundamentals, a solid understanding of cost and expense structures, and advanced Excel skills to transform complex financial data into clear, accurate, and scalable reporting solutions. You'll play a key role in supporting month-end close, strengthening reporting accuracy, and improving processes across accounting and operations.
**What You'll Do**
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting, payroll, and operations to deliver reporting and analysis that supports decision-making
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
- Build and maintain Excel-based reports, models, and templates to support recurring accounting and reporting needs
- Transform raw data from multiple sources into structured, accurate, and user-friendly reporting outputs
- Support month-end close through reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of supporting schedules
- Create scalable reporting tools that improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency
- Investigate data issues, determine root causes, and implement practical solutions
- Support audit readiness and maintain clear, organized documentation and workpapers
- Contribute to process improvements that reduce manual work and strengthen internal controls
**Qualifications**
**What We're Looking For**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity or high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost/expense analysis, reconciliations, accruals, month-end close and general ledger activity
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis tools)
- Experience building reports, models, or templates from complex or raw data
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain data clearly
**Nice to Have**
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Exposure to payroll data, vendor analysis, cost allocation, or operational reporting
- Experience with Power Query, Power BI, or similar tools

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you will be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job is $75,000.00 to $95,000.00. Individual salaries within those ranges takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; knowledge and skill sets; and other business and organizational needs.
