Accounting Analyst is responsible for maintaining the financials of the business and ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financials. This role will be responsible for working one on one with members of the accounting team to help the department support organization goals. This position also serves as a resource to the executive team to help maintain departmental budgets. Some travel may be required.
What You'll Be Doing - Collects and analyzes financial data for short- and long-range planning.
- Enhance existing reports to improve accuracy.
- Prepare monthly bank and GL account reconciliations.
- Daily cash applications to AR journal entries.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
- Work with fellow accounting staff to help with overflow.
- Prepare and/or review accounting records, financial statements, and reports to assess accuracy, completeness and compliance with standard operating practices.
- Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation.
- Assist in month end closing and review.
- Assist in year-end audit by preparing all audit schedules and reports as requested by auditors.
- Assist with additional third-party audits and other ad-hoc assignments.
- Additional duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned by CAO, Treasurer or Controller.
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field of study required.
- 1-2 years accounting experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Excel required.
- NetSuite or other accounting software experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Well organized, detail oriented and able to handle fast paced work environment.
- Strong work ethic.

Compensation RangeThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $76,900-$87,500 annually.

Physical Requirements This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying of 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder.
