Currently, we are seeking a qualified
Accountant to work collaboratively with both our Trucking and Windows divisions in
Red Bluff, California . This person will be an integral part of our accounting team and will work closely with the Division Manager, Accounting Management, and other Accountants within the Company.
About the Position - Responsible for all accounting of the Division, including financial statements, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and other analysis as needed
- Manage fixed asset accounting and reconcile fixed asset accounts
- Perform the year-end close for the division, including all audit and tax schedules
- Hire, train, and manage office staff
- Work collaboratively with Logistics operations throughout the company
- Ensure that appropriate internal control measures are followed
- Provide financial analysis as needed for special projects
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Recognize when and how to be assertive when improvement opportunities arise
- Work as a team member with company accounting team and management
Qualifications - 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or related field - CPA a plus
- 2 years progressive work experience in accounting, preferred
- Preference given for work experience in manufacturing
- Demonstrated excellent analytical skills and ability to resolve problems
- Skilled in leadership and communication
- Understand appropriate discretion with confidential Company information
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word)

The general wage range for this position at Sierra Pacific Industries is from $69,000 and $95,000 per year, and is dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to: relevant work experience, skill, knowledge, and/or education.
